Since the apartment complex has changed to a new office manager, the level of service has severely declined. There have been many issues I have been unhappy with.
Based on how I have been treated by office management, the new changes implemented by the complex, and the very fact that better options exist out there, I have chosen not to renew my contract once it expires.
The complex is okay. Beware, when they take you on a view of the complex and model unit, they will choose to show you the nicest apartment in the building. When you actually get to your place, it won't be so nice. Our apartment was filthy yet the person who gave us the tour assured us it would be cleaned before we moved in - no such luck.
There is also a lot of street noise - sirens, people loitering about and causing a ruckus, the neighbourhood church which often puts on parties and outdoor and very noisy sermons.
It is not the safest neighbourhood ... I believe there may be a halfway house across the street and possibly an assisted living complex for the mentally ill. There are also some shady characters who often loiter outside the complex.
The walls are thin. Pray you have quiet neighbours. If not, tough luck.
There are better places out there. Keep searching. You can do much better. Many of my friends have much nicer apartments and pay comparable - if not lower - rates.
I can't wait to move out.

Agreed. 100%. The office management have not been available 50% of the time, even though we went in or called during their business hours.

I agree, I would not be suprised to find out that all the raving reviews are written by the two managers while they ignore everything else. There are so many better and cheaper places to rent that are just as close to downtown- never live here.
