The apartment itself is great. The interior is attractive and there are two pools and a fitness center.
The problem with the Equinox is parking. Finding a place to park is fine and there are garage accommodations for one car. I however live with a roommate and we both have a car.

MY CAR HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO TWICE!

Windows smashed and items stolen. I am not the only one. There have been several break-ins that I am aware of in the year I've lived at the Equinox. The latest included smashed windshields of four vehicles and extensive damage to the hoods of all four cars due to the perpetrators jumping on the windshields.
Neighbors report that this type of vandalism has occurred often over the past few years. They even report vandalism that has happened to cars secure in garages!
The management seems mildly concerned about the issue.
More disheartening is the attitude of the St. Anthony Police as they seem even less concerned about the continuing crimes.
I am locked into a lease at the terrible place.
I would not reckoned it to anyone.

This review is a little outdated as of 2009. The whole neighborhood has been cleaned up and driven most of the rifraf out of town. I do not think it is always fair to blame the property for your vehicle being broken in to, don't leave anything in your car to attract attention. Second, they have built newer garages and I have lived in much more expensive apartments (In Eden Prarie) and cars got broken into on a weekly basis not only in our parking lot but in our underground parking. The management at this complex in Eden Prarie never did anything or cleaned up the glass. Cars get broken into no matter where you live, it can happen in you homes driveway.
