The efficiencies and 1 bedroom units are in different buildings. I have been in both.



The efficiencies are in a solidly built building. I never heard a single neighbor, except for when someone was in the hall talking, which wasn?t often. The rooms are plain, but very clean. Some units have fewer windows and are kind of dark. Also the units on the first and second floor have higher ceiling.

The 1 bedroom units are in newer buildings. These buildings are louder, and the total space is basically the same size as the efficiency - only divided into two rooms. The units, however, are just as clean and well maintained.

At the time I lived here, I thought the rent was overpriced. It is expensive, but for what the U of M area is becoming- it is probably a good deal if you want a clean, quiet apartment.
