The facade is nice, but that's it, it is just a facade. They say fast internet, they mean faster than dial-up by a smidge. They are like a man, they lie about their size just to get you in their bedroom, but once your there its a disappointment. As of now, the printer has been simply out of toner for near to a week. So when they say free printing, they mean free printing (not). The washer's and dryers squeak, and the heater stinks. And bathtubs clog, and windows that have a "beautiful" view of the courtyard have an extremely loud echo from the noises outside, when it rains it sounds like a gunfight and when people talk its unbearable when trying to sleep or study. Also as a warning, in a two bedroom apartment there is only one internet jack for when two people share a bedroom, so you and your roommate must go and buy a router. Also the heating and air are like woman, so hormonal, first the room is hot then its cold and you can't shut it off, it decides that for itself. The fire alarm repeatedly goes off without any explanation from the staff, and it goes off at inconvenient times such as 3 in the morning.

OH MY GOD ME TOO. My dryer squeaks like crazy, the walls are paper thin, and my bathtub randomly started clogging, and I don't know what to do. And yeah, wasn't that 3 am fire alarm just awesome? It would've been nice to get a frickin' heads up about what that was, and what to do in such an emergency. Grand Marc is close to the Carlson School of Management, where I go, but that's the only good thing about this place. Definitely NOT renewing my lease.
