While Groveland Terrace Apartments are not perfect, there are some redeeming qualities...

The good: You can't beat this location for proximity to both downtown and uptown, and you are in a very very nice, residential area of the city. Underground parking and guest parking make it easy for car owners. Other perks include a wonderful view of the Mpls skyline, pool and sauna.

The not-so-good: Yes, this building is old and in need of some repairs. I've had bad experiences with the property manager mentioned in the other review, and she caused a lot of problems when repair work needed to be done. But she's gone! There's a new guy, who is more polite but not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. The maintenance staff is actually very nice and polite; they just have to deal with poor management. I haven't had any issues with loud neighbors, either in the building or out in the courtyard.

For what I'm getting, I'm willing to put up with the not-so-good attributes of this place...until I have enough money to buy my own.
