For the rent that you pay, it's not the Ritz of Mpls, but it's a great place to live considering all that you get for $499. The outdoor pool is awesome and the fitness center has a lot of equipment and I never had to wait to get on machines.

Reading some of the other reviews on this site is misleading. I never encountered drugs or anything on the property like loud noise or break-in's and the maintenance staff, office staff and Avalon guards were always walking the property and answering to any calls I ever needed to make. What's more is that I called the Brooklyn Park Police Department before I moved in to see what the neighborhood was like and they said they would recommend this property - that it had a Tier-1 rating which is something usually only senior apartments are able to achieve. So I would suggest anyone else call if they had concerns about the crime levels and what type of calls this property gets.

I thought the management, leasing agents and maintenance were all awesome. The grounds were always well kept, I don't know what else to say about this place... It was great!
