I just found this site a couple days ago and HAD to post a review.
I lived there for 7 months. From December to July. I unfortunately had a friend try and find me an apartment out in MN since I was moving out here from Oregon. He found this place that was affordable, 650 a month I believe, since I didn't sign a 1 year contract. I paid for the 6 months in full [oops] so I was basically stuck there.
The apartment, when I got it, was disgusting. The carpets were still dirty, the bathtub still had stains in it as did the toilet, the place reaked. I was told that all of this would be cleaned up before I actually moved in. A week later, the only thing that was cleaned up was the toilet. I had to clean the rest of it myself.
The air conditioning sucked ass as did the security. People would always open one of the doors in the complex and place a rock and in some cases even a wedge to keep the door open. The AC was older than I am [26] and the cost to use the thing was insane. Using the AC used up so much energy that just with the AC on it tripled my electric bill.
The complex was dirty, people would leave garbage bags full of garbage outside of their front doors for DAYS. 3 people on my floor did this, when I call to complain, they said they would come out and take care of it, the garbage stayed their for 3 days. There was gum on the walls and the ceiling and the whole 7 months I stayed there, it was never cleaned up.
5 days out of the week cops were @ the complex. On a few occasions the cops had actually blocked in my car with their cars, preventing me from leaving as no cops were around to move the car, so I would have to wait up to 2 hours for them to finish what they were doing before I could leave.
The fire alarms would go off 2-3 times a week and in some cases would stay on almost all day and in my case, the alarm was RIGHT outside my door.
Overall I think this place is HORRIBLE! If you CAN'T afford to go anywhere else then...well, I'm sorry.
On the plus side, the pools were VERY nice and the staff was nice, but the apartment and the complexes themselves were horrible.
I honestly think they put the older/middle-aged people in 1 complex and the younger/section 8 people in another as people seem to have totally different experiences at this complex, mine, unfortunately, was a poor one.

I have to agree with you on this.
