My boyfriend, has lived in these apartment buildings for almost 10 years, I've live here for 2 with our daughter. THEY LOW BALL YOU FOR RENT. When I was pregnant I was scared to DEATH to go outside because the maintence guys do a ------ ass job of icing/shoveling during the winter. The maintence workers don't do crap! We've had constant problems in our bathroom from a busted toilet, to overflowing sinks and leaking pipes that are now causing mold! We've called the office 20 times already and they still have not done crap about it. Our fire alarm crapped out on us and we are not allowed to touch it, we've called them to fix that too and nothing. Not to mention there have been a lot of break ins, the neighborhood isn't that safe, and there was a recent advisory/community meeting about a sex offender is or will be moving in with in a mile around here. Though they do allow pets they don't do anything to enforce that owners pick up after their dogs or anything of that sort. There is constantly some kind of work on water pipes going on in our building. This place is falling apart its a complete hell! And the people working at Huntinton claim to care and value their renters...this month we are unable to pay rent and we've been trying to get help from the county...Stephanie who deals with all the rent told us we had til Tuesday and when a worker calls to talk to her about them helping us she tells them she was going to file it today but didn't get the chance so shes going to file for eviction on Monday...LOW BALLING --------! They don't give a crap about anything but themselves and doing a half ass job. WE CAN'T wait til we get the money to move the hell out of this place!!!!! The rent goes up and up no matter how loyal of a customer you are and short term leases are a total rip off. Its not worth it!

first off I live in Brooklyn Park and its not safe anywhere, not just Huntington Place. Read the news. Obviously the person that posted this is a idiot. If you live there for 10 years why haven't you moved? Obviously you are a person who will complain to complain. You get what you pay for in the Twin cities market when it comes to rent.
