I moved into Kenwwod Gables 1 year ago and being from the east coast and lost/clueless in the Midwest, Kenwood Gables was a godsend. I am leaving in 3 weeks as I am moving out of state, but I can honestly say this is the best apartment I have ever rented. The office staff is amazing, honest, and go out of their way to help with even the smallest details. If something breaks, it is repaired by the end of the same business day.
They even throw a holiday party with free food and booze and have monthly breakfasts so you can meet your neighbors.

The parking spot in the heated garage is included in the rent, and I pay $995.00/month for a large 1 bedroom with an awesome view of downtown. Compared to similar complexes in the area (laurel village, 110 grant, etc), this is cheaper for a bigger floorplan and includes parking.

The jacuzzi & sauna are great on cold winter days, and there is even a small but usually enpty gym. In the summer, I jog through the neighborhood and the scenery is breath taking with beautiful mansions and lakes. Downtown is a 5 minute walk and the new walker art center is directly next door. Overall the building is very quiet & secure and a lovely place to live.
