I lived at Lakewood Isles for one year two years ago and it was just ok. The apartment was small and run down, with very little natural light. The management was helpful, and whenever anything went wrong they were very quick to help. The kitchen sink exploded one day and the caretaker came right over even though it was his day off. The only thing I hated was parking if you had more than one car- got towed constantly on the street. Also pretty overpriced for what you got- you pay for location. I'm sad to say I probably went to Lake Calhoun once or twice the summer I lived there, so it wasn't worth it for me. The people in the building are nice though.
