I've lived in Lakewood Isles for over a year and a half now, and if it weren't for the great location near Calhoun and bike trails, I probably would not have signed another year lease. The management is pretty nice, usually friendly. The biggest problem with this apartment is the poor insulation and noise. There are a lot of people who play their music, movies, and video games very loudly, and the walls between bedrooms are PAPER thin -- so you can hear EVERYTHING going on next door...which can be really uncomfortable. So, I wouldn't recommend this place to a student or someone with a 9-5 job, that is, unless you don't mind living in a dorm-style environment. On the flip side, there is a nice indoor pool and a nice grilling area, which is great in the summer. I've never experienced any pest problem here, the apartments are a little dated but overall they are clean. We don't get a lot of light in our apartment, because there is only the porch window, so it is really dark in the winter. Overall, it is an okay starter apartment and temporary home, but I can't imagine living here more than about 2 years.

Hello, This is Katie from the leasing office, I know you said that you are currently living here, if you let me know what apartment you are in, or what apartment is disturbing you with their music or TV. I can defiantly talk to them. We have had a few issues in the past involving noise and when I talk to them they usually say they didn't realize how loud they were being and turn their music down. I would love to be able to help you out with this situation. This is everyone's home and I would like all of my residents to have an enjoyable living space.
