i would like to say something regarding my last post....i'll admit that when i wrote it i was feeling quite angry about getting fined, and that, mixed with alchohol, did lead me to saying some things that were not fair about the mang. and the caretakers of marcy park....a couple weeks latar i talked to the manag. and explained the situation to them...they were understanding and we came to a reasonable agreement regarding the situation. with that being said i would like to give my opinion (not under the influence) about living at marcy park apts.

Pros: living area is very clean and well kept, garage space is very nice..good spot to put ur bike in the winter..lots of room and heated, i live in the standard apartment and the size suits us just fine..the other sized rooms are very spacious as well, location is great..right in dinkytown, if u want quietness..this is the apartment for you

cons: definetly not a building for the college partiers, internet company marcy endorses seems a lil sketchy but go though quest u'll be fine,

on the whole the quality and size of all the rooms is great for the price, but if you want to drink and be able to play music past 10:00...i wouldn't recommend living here. if partying and staying up late doesn't suit you....then i would recommend living here. it really depends on your situation

That is too bad that you feel that way towards the caretakers. They are our eyes and ears when the we are not here. (Especially on weekends) I'm sorry that you feel mistreated by not being able to drink in the common areas of Marcy Park Apts., but that is one of our rules. We are just trying our best to make Marcy Park Apts. quiet enjoyable place to live for all of our residents.

The caretakers are great. You hit the nail on the head about the sucky Internet though. Qwest is the ticket to saving and high speed.
