Horrible management, good building

I lived in Marcy for 15 months and although I loved living there with my roommates and the accomadations were good I seriously hated the management. They put up warnings for whatever they want to do the day before, they say one thing and end up doing anther. It was just very frustrating moving out. Like I'm sorry but what landlord takes $400 non-refundable deposit and tells us to dust the outlets...seriously I'm pretty sure with $400 they can hire their own lazy ass staff to do that. I was very upset and how little of our deposit money we recieved. We did no damage and thoroughly cleaned the apt, yet somehow because there is a single little streak from the Windex on a bathroom mirror you get $30 taken out for "cleaning it". I feel that as a building it is fairly nice for college living, but as far as the so-called management that's a whole different story. Maybe they are just like that because we are college students and they feel they can get away with more things. I don't know, all I know is that no matter how young your tenants are, if they're paying you such an amount for living you better treat them with consideration.
