I am a second year student coming from the dorms, and living in Marcy Park as my first apartment. I think this is a great place to work on your independence because you're on your own, but also have the help and guidance of the management. Management is always there when you need them and respond to questions, e-mails, and work orders as quick as they can. Inside the apartment, it is pretty generic, but they are really spacious. All the walls are a warm cream, but they do allow you to hang up art, posters, etc.. I actually really liked that we got to furnish it ourselves, but some people, especially those who are out-of-state, may not like to haul beds, dressers, sofas and whatnot.
