Efficiency apts come with roommates -- mice. Had mouse droppings on perimeter of entire apt unit, including kitchen, closet. "Management" did not ever get the gravity of the mice infestation. Beware of laundry theft. Someone stole my brand new bra as it was drying. Attached with safety pins to the rest of my clothes was an envelope with a note inside, scrawled in pencil: "TO THE OWNER OF THESE CLOTHES -- YOUR BRA WAS TAKEN BY MISTAKE. HERE'S SOME MONEY [$10] TO COVER THE COST OF REPLACEMENT." Creepy, creepy... notwithstanding the fact that new lingerie costs more than ten bucks. Problems with drugs/alcohol exist, as it does everywhere. In '06 there was near fatal assault on tenant with a weapon. Parking, too, is a nightmare.
