I have been living here for about six months now. I have come to realize that there are some great things about living here, and some not so great things. First, the apartments on the 2nd floor have ceilings that are 18 ft tall! The kitchen living rooms are connected making the living room seem larger. The only windows that are in the apartment are in the living room, which gets beautiful sun, but can makes the rest of the house feel dark. There have been no bugs. The windows unfortunately don't open as wide as I would like them too for fresh air. The first couple months of living here there was some construction going on downstairs, which was quite obnoxious but the manager I spoke to about it was very polite and understanding. One big issue I have is the neighbors down the hall can be loud. There are a lot of people in and out of the place and sometimes take their arguments outside the apartment into the hall.....These may or may not be the same people that sometimes leave garbage in the hall (chicken bones, wrappers, etc). Luckily janitors are vvery prompt to clean these things up. I find it very rude that a few can be such pigs. Do not let this scare you off though bbecause I think it's because the 2nd and 3rd floor is affordable housing and I have been to apartments above and they're better kept. It's a good location with good security and unique apartments.
