I lived in the Midtown Exchange for nearly two years.
This building could be so amazing (great location, amazing historic past, mostly tasteful renovation, the global market) if the management wasn't SO TERRIBLE. Calls remain unaswered, the apartment manager doesn't show up for scheduled meetings and is often gone during office hours. The police are called to the building multiple times a month to deal with disturbances, some of which are even brutal. The public should be outraged at how goverment subsidized tax money has been squandered away by poor management. Also, the on-site "security" personnel are completely separate from the apartments and will not be of ANY help if an issue arises. And do not let them fool you when they say pets are not allowed. One in ten residents on the elevator has their dog with them, which is also a mirror of how poorly managed the building is.
I had such high hopes. Once again they were dashed.
