Mid Continent Management Company should not be allowed to continue doing business. They will lie, cheat, and steal, for an extra dollar or two. I just got my deposit check in the mail it was ridiculous. I barely got anything back after living there for a year and a half. They provided me no documentation as to why they took money out of the deposit. I have asked them several times to provide me an itemized list in writing, they have not responded (wonder why). This is all after they forced me to pay them an extra month of rent after my lease was up. The portfolio manager treated me in the most condecending way possible. They feel as though renters are second class citizens. The portfolio manager even suggested that I look for Section 8 housing at on point. They are not a legitimate business, I consider them a criminal enterprise, plain and simple. They are desperate for money and will do anything to take it form you. They count on the fact that renter's do not have the time or money to fight with them over a few thousand dollars (again going back to how they see renters) The only way to protect yourself is to stay away from any building that they manage. I would not put anything past them. The neighborhood is terrible, some of the pepole that live in the building have no respect for the common areas or others...I have found empty beer cans, cigarette butts, and even used condom's in the common ares. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere, there are plenty of units available, why put yourself in a position to become a victim of Mid Continent Management Company.
