Where to begin'

The problems begin with the tenants and interaction with the management. Dog Owners are allowed to let their dogs run free in the common yard and the parking lot. Some tenants are selling drugs from in their apartments and from the store next door. The building caretaker uses threats and intimidation to prevent complaints from reaching anyone above her.

Building maintenance has successfully taken a hundred-year-old building and turned it into a home depot weekend project complete with hobby craftsmanship and a painting scheme that relies on the "paint everything shut" philosophy rather than masking.

Complaints are met with a deaf ear by management who prefers to say, "That's a police matter" instead of dealing with issues like building security, drug dealing, and privacy infringement.

Parking. This is the biggest joke of all. The main parking lot has been sold and parking slots are divied out on a 'manager preference' basis. This is fortunate if you resemble a college cheerleader, but is unfortunate for all others.
