Sure, with any bldg in the city you are going to find problems, but to say it's trashy or welfare central or whatever is just sad. I lived in this building for three years (1995-6 and again 2002-2004) and was pretty much happy the entire time. Matter of fact, I just moved out in Nov 2004 and seriously cried when I left. So, check the laws in Mpls on section 8 (i.e., welfare housing) and you will learn that many "welfare" people live in most bldgs throughout the city.
