When people complain about parking, I have to laugh. I moved here from Chicago where one pays up to $200 extra a month for a spot on the street, or you park around four blocks away at the closest.
When people complain about having to walk up stairs because an elevator is not working, it also makes me laugh. There are only six floors in the building, it isn't as if it is a huge deal. Think of it as more exercise!
When people complain about the fact that there are dogs in the building I just wanna laugh as well...
It seems that people like to do a lot of complaining.
I knew all these things before I moved in, I can only surmise everyone else was aware of them as well.
I love this building!
I love the old restored 20s entrance complete with courtyards and a fountain, the old architecture and fixtures that adorn the building throughout, the antique features in each apartment.
I love the proximity to Loring Park, the Walker, Downtown.
I love the staff, they have hooked me up with most of the furniture in my apartment and are readily available if I need assistance.
It would be a shame to listen to the naysayers about this building. I think it is one of the better buldings I've lived in.
