My wife and I have lived here for around a year and a half and have had nothing but a great experience. To address some of the things the others have mentioned:

01: People say the building smells like dogs, etc.
My response: Don't move into an inner-city building which accepts dogs if you don't personally like them. That's a no-brainer.

02: People say the staff is rude or melodramatic.
My response: The staff most commonly mentioned, Hector and Barb, are wonderful people to work with. We're moving out of our beautiful hardwood floor one bedroom this month and we're actually going to miss them!

03: People complain of the elevator.
My response: This year, the building staff put lots of time and money into completely replacing the elevator. It hasn't been down since. Just out of curiosity; where would those of you who complained have gone for parts for a 1920's era elevator' Home depot'

Overall: Four Star Minneapolis living. Highly recommended. But be prepared for a waiting list.
