Expensive, but nice

The building is pretty pricey and the rents have been rising 5% each year for the last few years. Some of the residents are older people and very nice, but more and more new residents are younger, fresh from college, Target employees and are people who still like to party three times a week. Because of the party residents, guest parking is very tight on weekends and the common areas of the buildings will get a lot of trash such as beer bottles and beer cans, which usually gets picked up quickly, but is a nuisance. The partying residents also often create a lot of noise on weekend nights in the common areas, however I rarely hear noise directly from adjoining units (the floors and walls are very thick and well built). The amenities are great and the rent includes most utilities. The majority of the staff are very friendly people and the building generally is well maintained. There is a onsite laundry facility but you still have to pay for laundry, which is an extra expense in an already expensive building. I would recommend the building, but only if you use the amenities (gym, breakfast, pool)to make the apartment worth your money.
