Not a bad place to live

I know some individuals expressed disappointments with Park Terrace, but all in all I enjoyed my time there considerably. It was probably my most enjoyable apartment in my 8 years out of college. The studio was a shoebox, but the rent was cheap, the view of the city was great, the area was a lot of fun, and there was a coffee shop on the first floor - I suppose it depends on your priorities. All the office staff were quite friendly and helpful (though I admit, one seemed somewhat lazy). John the concierge was great. I never had any maintenance problems that were not fixed promptly. The walls, while not soundproof, were better than other places I've lived. I may have smelled pot in the hallway twice in two years, but maybe it was just less prevalent on my floor' Parking is a complete pain if you don't buy a parking permit.

I lived at the Park Terrace 25 years ago it was nice then but now I live across the street at 333 Oak Grove where you can get a large 1 bedroom with a Balcony for less money than you can get a studio for at Park Terrace. We have underground heated parking and laundry room on every floor. It is much better than the Park Terrace.

IT WAS 34 DEGREES LAST NIGHT AND THERE IS NO HEAT. THEIR BOILER IS CONSTANTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I HAVE NO HOT WATER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY - ALL YEAR ROUND. THEY BLAME ME. THEY TOLD ME I WAS CRAZY. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY ARE DOING????????????? HINT HINT HINT......."Quick- someone complained - turn it back on!" I DON'T LIKE WHEN PEOPLE TELL THEIR CUSTOMERS THAT THEY ARE CRAZY..... I HAVE BLACK BUGS IN MY APT AND THEY WONT TREAT THEM. - I AM CLEAN....... I HAVE A BROKEN APPLIANCES THAT DONT WORK PROPERLY. - THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THEM. THEY LET HOMELESS PEOPLE IN, AND LET THEM ROAM UNATTENDED. YOU CAN HEAR INTO OTHER PEOPLES APARTMENTS CLEARLY. THE APARTMENTS ARE NOT PRIVATE. THE LAUNDRY IS DISGUSTING. MY CLOTHES SMELL LIKE B.O. AFTER CLEANING - SO I HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE THEM RE-CLEANED SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS "APARTMENT COMPLEX" IS A 'CESS POOL OF DISGUSTING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
