This complex is a complete dump and is not a pleasant place to live. The carpets stink of urine. The doors are not secure despite the "security" doors. I complained to the property management about this and was told that is in an "on going problem", meaning they are aware of it but don't care enough to do anything about it. Creepy people loiter about for no apparent reason, which makes it even more scary when the building is not secure. People are LOUD and do not supervise their children, who run rampant through the grounds and parking lots. There is garbage strewn about the grass. Last winter, it took a week to have the lots plowed. (Good luck if you need to use your car to get to work or anthing.) They like to give short notice for things like sweeping the lots and entering your apartment. If you like the sound of sirens, then this is the place for you. Recently there was a shooting here. It happened at 2:30 in the afternoon...nice. The laundry facilities are weak and expensive. On a positive side, there is a White Castle across the street that is open 24 hours. To be safe, I would just steer clear of Brooklyn Park all together. GHETTO!
