I love Ridgwood Arches! The manager is unbeatable! The pool is wonderfully refreshing and the community is extremely friendly. The location is also very convenient. You are minutes from downtown, eat street, and uptown is just a jog away.

The space within the apartment is very comfortable! Large kitchen, large bedroom, a lot of closet space, and the bathroom offers a WALL mirror and WALL countertop.

You also get reserved parking which is HUGE for the location Ridgewood Arches is in. The only complaint (which is minimal) is parking is very tight. You have to be extremely careful when parking and probably even more careful if you own a large pickup or SUV.

this is probably written by the manager...parking is TERRIBLE. The "free parking" is a hoax especially when there are boulders all over the parking lot for a month straight. Parking on the street usually results in tickets and towing. The pool, what a joke, it is green 90% of the summer, closed for days at a time and looks worse than Lake Calahoun. This comment was probably written by the incompetent manager that has turned this property into a disaster.

"Anonymous" clearly has a bone to pick with the management. Never mind that the boulders were in the parking lot so that the management could repair a failing retaining wall on the north side of the property. That work is now done and it is a beautifully landscaped area with huge boulders and new trees when they could have gone the cheap route and installed an ugly retaining wall system. Maybe Anonymous would like to make a suggestion of where, in a compact minneapolis lot, one should store thousands of tons of boulders when undertaking a project of this scope. Further, the pool did have a chlorinator problem this summer and was closed for all of two weeks (unless you believe Anonymous - apparently that means 90% of the summer?!?). Also I can guarantee you the manager did not write this review. I know her and she wouldn't use words like "a jog away." It just doesn't sound like her. Is it possible that someone else recognizes the value of what this place has to offer? I think so. I have lived here for two years now and have loved every minute. So there.
