While admit the location is convenient, the management is poor. The staff of weekend and evening know nothing and do nothing to help. The daytime management are money hungry. If you misplaced you access card or laundry card, they charge you $25 for a new one, if and find it, even right away, sorry, no return. If you are on travel and miss the rent deadline even for one day, another $50. The rent might be a little lower than other big apartments, the hidden costs are outrageous. You d better be very careful to live in the apartment.

So, true! I am glad there are others here who feel the same as I do...

As the lease states...The rent is due on the 1st of the month, no later than the end of the 5th day of the month. If rent is not paid by the 5th, on the sixth day a $50 late fee will be applied to the outstanding rent. ....These are not hidden fees. These are in the contract. As for being charged $25 for missing, lost, or stolen cards...Every resident signs terms of use and fee explanations upon move-in to Rivergate. These are not hidden charges. Sounds like someone doesn't read something they sign and didn't get there way!....Cry baby bed wetter.... I've lived here for 10 years...and it's great!

I'm moving in soon. Should I be worried about the bed bugs? I've never dealt with them before.

Yes be worried about bedbugs... If I were you I would try to get out of the lease you have signed. You are better off going to another place and paying extra than coming to rivergate.
