The building itself leaves quite a bit to be desired. The floors are scratched and sloped (all my furniture was crooked) and the units are somewhat gross. There are "built-in kitchenettes" that resemble a picnic table and park benches. The one nice thing about the building is the view from the rooftop. You can see the city of Minneapolis quite well. However, the area is not safe, and the building had several break-ins during the course of my tenure there. I didn't care for the management much. You could never reach someone directly if you had an issue. The owner was can be rude. Like most rental companies, they are very "get the sale" oriented. Once you've signed your lease... Well, they are not at all interested in retaining you as a renter. However, it's important to be advised that most of the property management companies in the Stevens area are the same. I cannot recommend this bldg, property management company, or area to anyone.
