I'm a current resident at Stone Arch Apartments, and simply cannot recommend them as "Quality Apartments." I'm a young professional, and being past my partying days, I thought Stone Arch would be more of a fit, as it's a bit too pricy for the college level individual. To my dismay, they allow multiple college students to rent together, making it affordable, and allowing noisy parties to be carried out at all hours. Last week I made a special trip to the office, and the conversation is as follows with the girl working there ... "Hello, I was wondering if I could make a request to have my shower looked at." "Sure, let me write up a maintenance request, okay what do you need fixed'" "Well, my walk in shower has been leaking all over the bathroom floor, causing my rugs to get damp, and water to set all over." "Oh, unfortunately that is a problem in quite a few apartments, and the only thing you can do is to go buy another shower curtain rod, and another curtain and put it lower than the one that's already in there, so that it catches the water." "Isn't that something Stone Arch should have looked at prior to occupying the property'" "Well, unfortunately there is nothing we can do." "Well, can I please have the owner's name and number'" "I'm not sure that will do you any good, she's here from time to time, and I can give her your number if you'd like." "No, I'd prefer to call her myself, or I can write her if that is her preference." "It really wont do you any good. They are aware of the problem and she is kind of a fly-by-night so she probably won't care. Here is her business address anyway. You can also make an appointment with the manager here, but shes rarely here, so I suggest making an appointment." "Okay, thanks, also who do I give my 2 months notice to'"
If the employees are unwilling to help, and talk poorly of this owner individual, how can anyone recommend these apartments' I was also told that the good comments that are posted for Stone Arch were written by employees and the owner ... its so sad that they refuse to work to please the public.

I looked at that place, at the time, and it seemed that the girl showing the apartment was more interested in talking on the phone, and I seemed to be an interruption. She hurriedly showed me the apartment, then disappeared back into the office. I give them a 0

This is redundant. Staff posting awesome reviews for this place. Seems like they don't think highly of where they work. Very sad. Most case in most companies. People only want money, not to amke their companies better. sigh. the way this country is falling.....

Oh, yes, and as a young professional myself, I, too, thought college students wouldn't be in a building that charges $1,000 for a one-bedroom. But apparently not! God, why would anyone waste $1,000 on their kid's monthly rent? Of course Stone Arch won't reveal this to you when you're looking at the apartments and ask about the demographics. They probably don't even know who they're renting to. I've had enough of drunken parties, noise, open alcohol left in the lobbies, drunk people staggering around, kids in the "business" center (really the community homework center), Gen whatevers in their socks and slippers and pajamas wandering around (inside and out). What could be worse? Answer: College students with dogs! The ultimate irresponsible combination. The dog does their part by shitting freely everywhere, just so they can contribute to the irresponsiblity. |
