More Pros than Cons

First, I want to assure that I am a Resident, not an employee. I have lived in the 601 building for a little under a year. Although I can relate with some of the concerns expressed in other reviews I m not sure why so many people are so unsatisfied. Yes, like any apartment building Stone Arch has its flaws, but the pros surely out way the cons. The grounds are always clean, and I mean spotless. Management is friendly and personable. The building is highly secured allowing you to sleep well at night. Maintenance is amazing; not only is he extremely friendly but he is prompt and skilled as well. When my stove light wasn t working I filed a complaint in the office and it was fixed within 24 hours. I park in the garage, yes it is pricey, but if you choose to live downtown what do you expect. It is comparable to all other apartments in the area. It is very fun living in apartment that allows animals. Yes, there are some conflicts with this policy, but it is not management s fault, it is the pet owners that are the problem. Too many young, first time pet owners that don t understand the responsibility of a pet as well as lack knowledge of how to train an animal. I have never seen so many undisciplined out of control dogs. Example: when your dog is jumping and barking out of control at every person that walks by, give a firm NO and tighten your dog s leash so that it can not jump do not simply yell chill out or stop it in a playful panicky voice. My only major issue with the building is that the ceilings are thin. My upstairs neighbors drive me insane! Every day and night I hear stomping so loud that at times it shakes things on my walls. It sounds like they are sumo wrestling! I have made complaints and management has attempted to help and do sound tests, but it just isn t worth the struggle. I am slowly becoming more and more immune to it, but some times, late at night when I am awakened I want go upstairs and bang down their door. Compared to the problems that I could face while living in an apartment but don t, this is minor. Over all I really enjoy the location and environment of Stone Arch and would recommend it to everyone. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
