I hear my upstairs neighbors all the time. I know where they are, when they dropped something, when they are opening drawers, and when they get into bed! For some reason upstairs noise is magnified 100x than what I was used to. Thin floors' My neighbor comes home late evening every day so I am awakened every evening by the sound of things being dropped on the ground, heavy footsteps, and singing! Yes, singing! I am confused because I don't hear my downstairs neighbors or people next door. If you enjoy peace and quiet at night and are thinking of moving here I hope you are lucky to get an apartment on the fifth floor.

Beware of the laundry machines. I love love dogs and cats but am unfortunately allergic to pet hair and have encountered other people's pet hair on my clothes after taking them out of the washer. While the dryer gets this stuff out I can not dry some items which means I have to remove this pet hair myself. I don't even have a pet! I miss having my own washer and dryer.
