I came home from work to find my door left open without my notice. Painters had been working on my door and then left it open. I was never given 24 hour notice that someone would be entering my room. The painters eventually came to my room to alert me that my door had to be left open for an hour so it would not stick. I was very upset because I had places to go that I had to miss out on because I was stuck watching my open painted door. I now feel unsecure in my building knowing that my door can be left open.

Not surprising. The management doesn't seem to have any regard for the legal issues surrounding running an apartment complex. Look at Waterton Management (the company that runs Symphony Place)... most of their complexes are dumps where everything is broken and then they try to go in and fix it up. Just like Symphony Place. Elevators fixed and still stand for 10 minutes waiting for one. Is it just me or did the "upgrades" not do anything. I almost wonder if the old stuff was rusting and about to collapse and they installed what they had to in order to bring it to code. It's sure no faster, I do know that.
