Problems are still not fixed

I have to disagree wholeheartedly with the post below mine. And it angers me to find out that they are offering all the new tenants all these discounts and perks while they keep trying to screw over their loyal tenants who have been there for years.
Just a few minutes ago I was calling AGAIN to complain about the fact that the maintenance request we put in 6 weeks ago was still not taken care of. (This is pretty much a commonplace)
Amenities we pay for (hot tub, pool) were out of commission for months and we received no reimbursement for it.
The elevator situation was allegedly fixed but I've been finding my wait times increasing almost daily. The frequently will take down the elevators for maintenance after 8AM not realizing that there are MANY residents who don t have to be to work until 9AM leaving those people stranded for 10-20 minutes.
You have to pay over $110 (or at least I do after they felt they could justify raising the parking rent in addition to our regular rent at our last renewal) for a parking space however it is very easy for people to cheat the system with the parking transponders and have friends/family park in the ramp illegally. I ve come home on 8 different occasions (including the day I moved in) to find another car parked in my assigned parking spot. The kicker was when a car was parking in the spot next to mine illegally and pinning me in so the only way I could get in and out of my car was through the passenger side. I went down to complain and the person at the office said she would check into it however her records showed no one should be parking there. (Well duh!) And she would get back to me that day. She never did. Only a week later when I stormed into the office after I tore my brand-new pants trying to get into my car from the passenger side did the problem get resolved by them assigning me a new parking spot. Her response was oh I was waiting to hear back from the person who owned the car and they never called. Ya think'!
They recently decided to allow residents to keep dogs on certain floors - without checking with those residents who currently live on those floors to see if having dogs would be okay with them. The result - we now get woken up occasionally by dogs barking.
My biggest beef with this building is that they justified raising our rent $200/month when we signed our last lease saying that the building had been at 90% capacity, and yet 5 out of the 10 apartments on our floor are empty with only one of those labeled as a "Short-term rental." We will not be renewing our lease again when it is up in July. Please save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. The ONLY good thing about this place is that the apartments are huge (but trust me you pay dearly for every square inch) and the downtown location.
