The "management" is not what they portray when they are schmoozing you to move in (or renew your lease). The most disturbing aspect of the Tamarind is that the management staff is comprised of an unstable collection of misfits that bully, belittle and ignore tenants as their primary management technique. Beyond that, my car was broken into in the parking garage twice and my requests to have a different parking stall were completely ignored. The garage door came down onto my car when I was driving through it, which they claimed was not their problem. My dish washer was from the 1970s, didn't work and they told me to use crystals instead of liquid, rather than replace it. There are about 20 lease addendums, which grows at the whim of management. The garbage chutes are sealed off. The fire alarms go off from 3-0 times a week. The water is brown intermittently throughout the winter months. Be careful if you sign a lease here...the first storm when your standing around downstairs in the parking garage chatting with your neighbors...you'll discover that you all have the same horror stories! Under new ownership, this place would be great because of the location!

My car has too been broken into at this complex with management telling me that it is my fault, refusing to warn other residents and then yelling at me when I told other people that my car had been broken into. I dont know why the garbage chutes are sealed off but I noticed that too. It is so "nice" to be able to carry my trash down the hall, and put it into a dumpster that sits next to the building.
