I lived here for about a year, and overall, it was nice. It is a newer building so there aren't a lot of problems maintenance-wise. Things get fixed fairly fast when there is a problem. If lights burn out in the ceiling fixtures you have to get them to come and replace them. Unit has central air, which is a big plus. The location is good, if you don't mind a view that includes a Super Target. It's close to the city and highway.

The rent is VERY high. There are comparable buildings in the area for much less. What makes Urban Park unique is the pet policy. It is a "dog-friendly" building. The pet deposit isn't obscene and there's no monthly pet rent. This makes the higher overall rent seem not so high. It's also one of the nicer building you'll find that allow dogs. It is nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit, though. The underground parking is a little expensive, $45/month. Also, it doesn't have a lot of amenities for the price. But like I said... if you have a dog, it's a good deal.

There have been some management changes since I first moved in. We encountered various levels of ineptitude. I spent 20 minutes explaining to one of them that if she intends to plow the parking lot, she needs to alert the residents. She assumed people would just keep track of the snowfall totals to see if it fell within the range for plowing.

Our neighbors were a little noisy and the walls aren't very thick. It would have been an issue if our bedroom shared a wall with their unit.
