I've lived here since Sept, 08 and have always loved it. The size is spacious for a 1 bedrm, more so in the LR and huge kitchen. There are enough cupboards for the houseful of things I am accustomed to using for a kitchen and dining room.
The maintenance has been excellent, both in how well it is accomplished and very, very timely. Their upgrades to appliances and light fixtures are tastefully chosen. The staff is so helpful in clarifying and following up on each request. I received a new dishwasher within 2 weeks when a leak was discovered. I love having a full size washer dryer right in the unit. The vents were cleaned by the staff and the furnace filters were changed by them also.
The vaulted ceilings and fireplace add so much character as well as the nicely designed private balcony with door from both the LR and the BR to access it. It is quite roomy for an apt this size and I love the way it is set behind a tall mature tree for added shade and privacy.
The entire complex is handy for walking the trails, using the playground, very pet-friendly, using the indoor and outdoor pools, an exercise room, lovely office with free hot drinks daily, multiple vending machines in clubhouse, garages, and first floor, availability of newspaper machine in bldg. I love for long, cold, winter days. The large upstairs room in the clubhouse is available for rental or free to use during the day. IT houses a kitchen, lots of nice furniture, a large screen TV/DVD and a billiards table. There is even a guest suite available for reasonable cost. More.. a racquetball court, a volleyball court, a tennis court. Nice locker rooms, shower, hot tub and sauna in the clubhouse too.
Garages, (underground, heated) hallways, carpeting, everything in general commons and yard areas are cleaned well and repeatedly. Maintenance people are friendly, capable and agreeable. Parking space outdoors is more than ample for both residents and guests. The garage stalls are nicely roomy, and even have one stall for car washing for free.
My nearest neighbors are quiet, the only noise I hear is some coming home at 2 in the am on weekends and mostly in the summertime will I hear that noise. Or talking loud on their decks when you want to have the doors open.
The staff offer many activities for residents considering they are very diverse, working, some retired, some kids of all ages. They offer really fun things for kids around the holidays. Free DVD movies to check out, changed monthly. I've missed a few nice adult gatherings for Christmas and a winter Bingo they had.
They ask for more ideas from residents. So far I can't think of anything exactly to offer for more ideas as there is a great Plymouth Creek Community center only blocks away that offers everything from every kind of interest group.

Again please refrain from making innacure commments. The photos shown were not provided by management but are in fact photos the resident took on her own. It is unforunate that you feel so negatively. Have you ever tried addressing your issues with the management?
