Disclaimer: It should really go without saying, but definitely READ YOUR LEASE and be aware of the requirements for both moving IN and OUT of your apartment. I have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth from the way it was handled by the management, but in all honesty I could have prevented it by giving 2 full calendar months notice before moving out. I let them know 6 weeks ahead of time and was forced into an additional month's lease, at an elevated month-to-month cost (later reduced after negotiation).
Other than that, I can't say that I've had trouble with the place - to sum it up, here's the scoop:
location - near hwy 55, 494, target, cub foods, lowes, bw3, old chicago....
amenities - indoor and outdoor pool, modest fitness room, raquetball court, sauna..
parking - 1 space underground plus plenty of lot parking off-street
cleanliness - common areas clean, probably due to both staff and residents
maintenance - generally prompt and adequate maintenance service
staff presence - hours seemed to change frequently, contradictions in posted hours, vm hours and actual staff availability.
haven't gone thru the checkout process yet, but when I do I will edit this review. Hope this helps someone out there.....

The staff suck! There always on a smoke break or talking on there cell phones or eatting. The apartments need updating. I WOULD NOT recommend Vicksburg to anyone.

Edit: Checkout process was smooth. No complaints other than they issued the check jointly in both our names, requiring that we both be present to deposit. Probably a legal thing and not their fault. Happy apartment hunting, all!
