My roommate and I moved into the Conservatory right out of college last summer. We got a great move in special, the old management was fairly nice, maintenance was responsive, and the apartments were kept clean. Notice I use the PAST tense, here. Things have changed DRASTICALLY since the new management took over in December. The Ridgedale Group cannot get their act together! They gave away my parking spot to a new renter in the middle of this past winter, we kept finding crickets in our apartment, my walls cracked open and mold is growing. When maintenance was called, I was connected to someone in their coporate office. Nothing EVER happened about any of my complaints, except I got my horrible parking spot back after about three weeks!
They do NOT care about their residents, and will let ANYONE move here. The residents that live in my building are getting creepier by the month--we hear domestic abuse through our walls, fights break out in the hallways, people dump their garbage wherever they please, clothes are stolen out of the washing machines...overall, the place is scary! Nobody cleans or vacuums the common areas, the walks were never salted or shoveled for the winter, and the new management fired the former staff with three days notice to vacate. These people are cold hearted, and do not know what it means to be professional or run a professional business. Whatever you do, DO NOT choose this place...even if they show you the "showcase room." I promise you, you will regret it.
