Not worth the money

Let me start by saying that the staff and maintenance staff in the leasing office are wonderful, but the corporate office is TERRIBLE to deal with. After paying $850 a month for a 1 bedroom, I can safely say that I was screwed out of a lot of money. The apartment itself is nothing special, with barely adequate heating and terrible quality water. My dishwasher would leave a film on my dishes even if I washed them WITHOUT SOAP. Every time I went in to complain, they simply said "it's the city's water." Bull.
When it came time for me to move out, (hallelujah!) Leslie, the leasing manager called me in a panic asking me if I could move out early, because she had told someone they could move in on the 30th. (my lease was up the 31st!) I did them a FAVOR and moved out 3 days early. What did I get in return' An $850 bill. Leslie forgot to send in my intent to vacate form and the corporate office thought I had broken my lease. After WEEKS of explaining and waiting to get my money back, they forgot to add on my pro-rated rent they owed me for moving out early. The corporate office treated me like a pariah and a criminal when I did everything exactly right, to the letter, and then some.
The corporate office is unprofessional, has absolutely no idea of the meaning of customer service and dim-witted at best.
The kicker on this complex is that they raised the rent $100(!) for the year 2008-2009. NO THANKS!
