The management company and staff make this place a horrendous place to live. I'd warn anyone thinking of this place to stay away!

DITTO, the buildings themselves are not bad buildings. HOWEVER the office staff is a NIGHTMARE! I am moving back to my previous apartment community. they heard I was having such a terrible time at Conservatory, they are giving my first month free and no deposit!
The on site management company totally sucks, I mean worthless. The Richdale group is completely incompetent as well. Ever had anyone from there call you back? Neither have I.
I cannot WAIT to be out of that hell hole!

I also agree. I am a current resident and was tricked into living here by Leslie and the blonde curly haired girl. There is nothing good to say about living here. We were told that a workout facility was being built and would be ready by the winter of 2008. Well it's May and the same jokers are still throwing stuff up on the roof and then taking it down and walking around pretending to be busy. The management is terrible (both conservatory and richdale). They will make no effort to follow up with any problems or get back to you if you call. If you have no other options and have to move in here, just be sure to do the following: 1. if you get a tour of a room, don't sign the lease until you have seen your room. the room they show you will not be the same. 2. For your own peace of mind, always have the staff write things down and sign them if they make a promise to do something. 3. Although the managment are terrible, the maintenance workers are great. If you need something done, work with them. THen you will have a 40% chance of getting it accomplished. Don't even waste your time going to the office unless you have to pick up a package or your going in with rent money. That is the only way they will even remotely show interest. Last of all, if they say they are going to put in new appliances, make sure the appliances are in before you move or it will not happen. And if you have any problems, Leslie is the only one even slightly capable of helping you (management) but will often try to argue first

Kathy is the one with the curly hair. she is not dependable. Leslie will absolutely argue with you over anything... even small... they have a tendency to "lose" your rent checks, even though my Bank shows the checks cashed in a reasonable amount of time. The newer guy there is far better then the stalkerish --- kid they had in there before: a queer acting guy from management coming to your unit after midnight to say "hello." ??? That place is the biggest circus I have ever experienced. It is situated between Hopkins, Edina, and Eden Prairie... Minnesota's own bermuda triangle.

If I had the option of living in Hell, and renting at the Conservatory, I would sublease my apartment at The Conservatory, and move to hell.

Question: How do you get tricked into living here? I'm just curious how that works
