For someone who has been living at the Cliffs for 5 years, I can say something for both the negative and positive postings.
Both have some truth and both have some lies. There will always be people who have good and bad experiences. Just because you have a bad experience does not mean you can not pay your bill or getting evicted anyway,(how snubbish). And not all the incrediblely positive posting are the management putting their anonymous two cents in.
But, let's face it. The Cliffs has gone way down since the 1990's. But, the management is now trying to bring some of the old luster back through renovations.
The rent is affordable based on what's affordable to you. I think it is an affordable place to live for the space you get. But, I do think that the management is has become less picky about the tenants they let live here.
The Cliffs offer a lot of extras, like the free shuttle ride to work and many amenities. I think if the management looked at all of the complaints and compliments carefully and tried to use them to benefit the Cliffs, making some changes and keeping some things the way they are, these ratings would be a great help to everyone.

My husband and I agree with you. Management needs to take input from many resident sources and construct a plan to make The Cliffs even BETTER.

Does anyone live in one of the pet friendly buildings? My sister and I looked at a model at The Cliffs yesterday as I am selling my house but the pet friendly buildings looked more run down than the others and were tucked in the back.

I am writing on behalf of a former tenant of The Cliffs. She was severely burned by scalding hot tap water in July 2007. I am investigating whether The Cliffs' management operated the hot water system responsibly. If you had concerns about the water being too hot, I would appreciate hearing from you. Phone: (612) 250-8891. E-mail: joel@KosLawFirm.com. Thank you.
