The Cliffs of Minnetonka formerly Cliffs at Ridgedale

I have lived in the cliffs for a little over a year. Upon first moving here the specific apartment we rented was a disaster, they said they would clean it by the time we moved in. It was barely cleaned at all when we moved in. I'm sure we'll be charged for stains on the carpet we did not create. Also, our stove didn't work, dryer didn't dry and some of the closet doors didn't even close. Took over a month of hounding to get anything done about it, and they replaced the stove with an older, dirtier stove. When they went to clean the dryer they tossed out our underwear laundry onto the floor...personal! Another time my window would not close and it was frosting on the inside (this was during the dead of winter). I came into my room with all of my furniture shoved aside, and a repairman on the floor of my bedroom. I take a look outside and my cat is crawling on the ledge outside! All of this was with no notice to when this man would be on the floor of my bedroom!
Yet another complaint is the shoveling and salting of the walk ways. Remember the few big snowfalls during the end of the winter' Well, our walkway was never shoveled or salted for weeks...we were left to walk in a single footprint trail. Talk about dangerous. Also, I had my tires slashed within a week of living here (with no enemies) I informed the management about this so they could be on the lookout, they were very rude and annoyed almost that I would waste their time to tell them. I think this complex should take some time and repair and update the place instead of sending out countless fliers telling us to remove welcome mats, and remove toys from our own personal balconies. Priorities please.

I am writing on behalf of a former tenant of The Cliffs. She was severely burned by scalding hot tap water in July 2007. I am investigating whether The Cliffs' management operated the hot water system responsibly. If you had concerns about the water being too hot, I would appreciate hearing from you. Phone: (612) 250-8891. E-mail: joel@KosLawFirm.com. Thank you.
