Move here, but only if you love bugs and rodents! Plunkett's Pest control was just here visiting a couple of "select" apartments. They came in with HUGE equipment and spent several hours in a couple of the apartments on first floor. I asked why they were there and they said they could not legally disclose the nature of their visit due to violation of privacy, but I do know that they have been called out to deal with everything from bedbugs, to centipedes and rodents at this craphole! I have read several reviews regarding The "terrible" maintenance, office staff and the owner's of The Cliffs and I couldn't agree more. We, like many others have suffered from windows that don't work, appliances that have broken down and just recently had a mass infestation of those horrible 1500 legged centipedes. We were told that Plunketts does an annual inspection and that we could get someone to come treat our apartment specifically by filing a complaint, but we have called for several other maintenance-type issues and they have rarely ever responded. The 2 times, they did respond, they came into our apartment without notifying us, which by the way is against the law. Flee from The Cliffs if you know what's good for you! I haven't even been here a year yet and cannot wait to get out!

Wow! You said it! Our neighbor had a bat at her place and had to BEG the maintenance staff to come take care of the problem for months before they did. They came and killed the bat, then left a huge mess for her to clean up. Nice. When they said "pet friendly," I didn't realize it meant "ALL RODENTS and BUGS WELCOME!" This place is a dive!

I am writing on behalf of a former tenant of The Cliffs. She was severely burned by scalding hot tap water in July 2007. I am investigating whether The Cliffs' management operated the hot water system responsibly. If you had concerns about the water being too hot, I would appreciate hearing from you. Phone: (612) 250-8891. E-mail: joel@KosLawFirm.com. Thank you.
