I am writing on behalf of a former tenant of The Cliffs. She was severely burned by scalding hot tap water in July 2007. I am investigating whether The Cliffs' management operated the hot water system responsibly. If you had concerns about the water being too hot, I would appreciate hearing from you. Phone: (612) 250-8891. E-mail: joel@KosLawFirm.com. Thank you.

We just moved out and I can assure you the water is still scalding hot. I'd be interested in speaking with you in regards to the severe nosebleeds I had due to the black mold in our apartment. I was rushed to ER & urgent care 4x in 3 days because of the severity. We called the office and maintentenance to notify them of the mold on several occasions, but they wouldn't do anything. They finally replaced one rotted out patio door which was soaking wet and covered with mold. I would've aired the place out, but our windows were broken and couldn't be opened for the entire 14 months that we lived there. This was a common issue as at least 1/2 a dozen people down our hall had issues with both mold and the windows (and doors) not working. Even though there are sprinklers in the unit, I still believe non-functioning doors and windows are considered to be a fire hazard. I even went as far as to call the attorney general to let them know that health inspectors should be called out to do an assesment on The Cliffs. The place is falling apart. They have the worst office and maintenance staff I've ever dealt with. Completely ignorant. Instead of fixing the windows, getting rid of the mold, and having us spend another $19,000 to stay there another year, they didn't do anything and will now be attempting to rent the apartment out for another 9 months to a year like they did before we moved in. Smart...
