Waterstone Place
AVERAGE RATING
< | >
We lived at Waterstone Place for one year. The apartment layouts are very nice and feel more like a condo or house than an apartment. The staff is excellent. Anytime we had a problem, it was addressed promptly and with concern. The grounds and building are very well kept. The location is also great- right down the road from Lake Calhoun. The address is in Minnetonka, but it's more like St. Louis Park. We looked at many of the newer "luxury" apartments in that area before choosing Waterstone and felt that the upgrades and layouts of the apartments at Waterstone were the nicest. Highly recommended!

Yes, the fluff is nice. In reality, the management is a training ground for Gitmo interrogators. OK, seriously...it's a nice apt community, however, management is fine, just like the HR dept at your job...they don't work for you, they work for the company and protect the company interests at all times. Protest something, and guess what, it ain't pretty. You get listed on their list....regardless of how much wrong they've done with their young and poorly trained managers. Young managers who think they have some "power". Meanwhile, you pay a lot for these apartments. A lot. And you get treated like a detainee if you question anything.
The other aspect of this complex is noise. Why? Let me think...um...highway 169 is withing sight and 100 feet...a major railway is in sight and also 100 feet away. OH...and then there's the flight path of the airplanes...pretty much above these apartments.....but they don't really like to discuss this when you looking. guess what...the small balcony would be nice if you could sit out there without headlights and loud trains that come by twice an hour.
look else where.
