I lived in Waterstone for a few years and overall I have been satisfed. It is a nice place that feels more like condo living than an apt. Huge kitchen, cupboards, closets, open floorplans, spacious layouts, high ceilings, large windows, extra storage space, great landscaping, and beautiful view of the wetlands and wildlife along backside. Traffic is loud on patio and with windows open, but a person gets used to it considering there are not lengthy periods of pleasant weather in MN. The sides of bldgs next to the highway are sound-proof insuated which makes a huge difference. There are definitely car theft issues in the garage so be careful. But residents continue to leave valuables in plain sight in their vechicles. My car was broken into once and now am very careful not to leave anything out. I think the upstairs exterior lot is safer. Plus each resident only gets 1 space in the garage included with rent, regardless of the number of bedrooms and tons of open spaces in the garage. The rent is expensive and they really nickel and dime residents (pet rent, garage spaces, water usage, etc). Staff is friendly, prompt, and responsive, however management can be difficult and it's their way or the highway. Including entering residents apartments on multiple occassions withOUT permission. This is a violation of the LAW but they seem to think their lease supercedes that. They try to threaten when this is brought up. So watch out! Regardless I will still recommend this complex as overall the good definitely outweighs the bad.
