Luxury apartments is what they call this place...and it's so far from it. The place looks beautiful when you first drive up - the outside of the complex is kept very nice thanks to the great maintenance staff. Which is the only nice thing about this place. But don't be fooled by your first impression.

The place itself is very outdated. I think most the appliances are from the 80's still. The washer sounds like a freight train about to barrel through the walls, the dishwasher is outdated and has broken pieces on it that we have cut ourselves on time and again - the cabinets are crap and our drawers never stay on the track they are on - they often cave in to the cabinets.

Utilities are a mystery here. You don't pay the city of Mtka - you pay Regency woods and I have never paid higher rates in my life for utilities because it's basically an average of everyones usage plus I think whatever the staff wants to tack on.

You hear mice in the walls at night which is awesome. I've read reviews of this being a problem way back since 2006.

Office hours are pretty much inconvenient for the average working person.

Parking is ridiculous - sometimes as a paying resident I have nowhere to park. Apparently there are problems with break ins but I don't leave anything in my car to take so I guess my car isn't of choice to break into.

Management is fake - they are nice enough until you sign the lease, then who cares because you are roped into paying far more money than your apartment is worth for a good year or so.

They offer $300-$500 to refer a friend to live here... sadly I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to live in this place. I can't wait for my lease to be up and move the F out of here!

I'm not sure where the great reviews come from - but I consider myself to be a pretty reasonable person and just don't agree with any of them.
