Management is horrible to deal with

I have lived in this area for nearly 20 years, and have had nothing but problems with this management.
When I first moved in, the management was wonderful, and very nice to deal with. The staff changed shortly after I moved in. There have been numerous chanegs in the management in just the few years I have been here. One no better than the last.
The buildings look nice from the exterior, but the quality is definitely below standards. The walls are so thin & poorly insulated, that you can hear the conversations of the residents next door to the point that you can hear their alarm go off in the morning, their conversations, yelling, etc. I can hear them sneeze, and can even hear the hangers in their closets when they are getting dressed. I have made numerous complaints to the management about this issue, and they have done nothing to resolve this problem.
Their policy has changed since then, but in the past, they used to tow any vehicles on a daily basis. They did not have spots marked well for residents or non, and have towed family and friends vehicles when they came to visit. One 15 minute visit cost my brother $220. I believe they must have had a connection with the towing company, as one night when I was towed, I was told by the towing company they had towed 33 cars from the Woodlands that evening alone.
I was twice towed out of my assigned parking stall. Once I had been given a sticker just that morning and didn't have it on my car by evening, and they towed my car out of my assigned parking stall in the underground parking garage. The second time, they towed my car for being 2 days late with my license tabs. The car was not even on the road or being driven, yet they towed my vehicle again out of my assigned parking spot.
They also have changed their policy and now allow dogs in this complex. There is apparently no size limit, and have seen german shepherds, a great dane, on down. Dogs need room to run, not to be cooped up in an apartment. Obviously with the poor insulation, the noise is an issue, as is the smell in the hallways from some apartments and the lack of many residents to pick up the dropping as they are supposed to.
I would not recommend living here to anyone!

Don't be so hard on dogs, people need to be able to have BIG dogs at rentals too, we cannot all afford to buy. Not all dog people let them crap all over either.

It seems like things haven't changed. I lived there from 02-05 and had the same problems with management. The walls were thin and the place could have been cared for better. Besides the apartments (especially kitchen) was out of date. Don't miss the place!

You guys are full of crap! I have lived here for less than a year and I love it. I lived here previoulsy 2 years ago, and when It was time to move, I came right to the woodlands. I know this a great home. The office staff is great, they have certainly done great improvements since Equity managed this place. Maintenance is also very responsive and quick to fix.
