bedbugs galore

I moved in about a year ago and ever since I have heard nothing but stories about bedbugs in every building. I haven't gotten them yet, but my neighbor upstairs had a really bad case I guess. She ended up moving out but she said the office made her sign something saying she wouldn't talk about it. Other people have also had alot of problems with bedbugs but the office tries to keep it quiet.
Other than that, maintanance is ok, and I feel safe walking at night. It's a very nice area set back in the woods and you really don't hear traffic or city noise. The train is a little loud sometimes, but I got used to it.

this response was obviously written by the manager. Who else would put a wikipedia reference on here? Also, note that she says "these apts are not furnished". Not something that a resident would say. My experience was posted. It was not "hearsay". Also, your user name is "New2Mtka".... I'm sorry hon, but anyone that is new to Minnetonka does not even know the abbreviation for Minnetonka. Nice try, you are obviously the manager trying to stand up for herself.

Well, I'm from the Minnetonka area and I know that bedbugs are transferred from area to area by way of people and animals and can be easily controlled, so if this is the only thing wrong with this place then...I'll be moving in in August as planned.

Oh my heavens, do you know what happens when you ass-u-me?? I was born in Wayzata in 1946, and since then have lived in St Louis Pk, Mpls, Eagan, etc, etc, etc... just never before in Minnetonka. (Yes, I do know how to abbreviate Mpls, Mtka, MN, MSP, etc.) As a matter of fact, when I moved into the Woodlands, they told me I could write "Woodlands of Mtka" on my rent ck. (Yes, I also know how to abbreviate "check".) And, yes, your "experience" was what a neighbor told you... you state "I haven't gotten them yet", which means that YOU have no PERSONAL experience with bedbugs... repeating what your neighbor told you IS hearsay. Since you obviously do not have a good command of the English language, I would suggest that you purchase a dictionary. You might even try using wikipedia... you might learn something. As a matter of fact, stories about bedbugs have been flourishing for the last couple of years. Just to educate myself, I looked up "bedbugs" on wikipedia a year or so before I moved into Woodlands of Mtka. So since I am not a manager, was I supposed to say "these... uh... rooms that I stay in... uh... had nothing in them... uh... until I moved... uh... my stuff... uh... into them?" Give me a break. I have gained very useful info about products from actual (sincere) users. Every one reports their own personal experience... not what someone tells them.
