We lived at Woodlands only 6 months before deciding we couldn't do it anymore. This apartment has gotten it right in terms of making it appealing to someone they give tours to, but living there was a different story.

Positives: The grounds - Clean, and extremely well kept. They obviously spend a decent dollar on this, and the landscaping reflects it. This place looks sharp from the outside. Interior hallways - they have a fresh coat of paint and new light fixtures throughout, which entice if you're visiting, but this is where the positives end.

Negatives: NOISE - We rarely got a full night's sleep there. First, there is a train track running between 50 and 100 yards from your apartment, depending on which building you are in, and you will be woken twice per night typically by the very loud freight trains that run by. Thin walls / Floors - we constantly were hearing either the music or tv from our next door neighbors, or the neighbors above, who seemed to be stomping around.

Safety - OK...we heard some rumors of violence, but didn't experience any personally.

Cleanliness: We didn't experience this, but heard first hand about people who were infested with bed bugs shortly after moving in.

Overall, this place is overpriced for what you get. We were paying $900 for a single bedroom...the place is worth closer to $750 a month.

Good luck as you search...but don't let your search end with this place.

I will have to disagree with this posting. I have lived here also for 6 months in a one bedroom paying the same price as you. If you look a at the market in this area the price is very reasonable for what you get. Remember heat is included this is a huge plus as the price of gas is on the rise.

I have lived here for a year, and have only heard my neighbors if they are on their balcony. This place is clean, smells good, and well kept. I enjoy living here and have had no problems at all.
